Kearstin is a mama of a two, Nash and Nate, a birth and postpartum doula, a childbirth educator, and a student. She is currently pursuing certification in loss and bereavement doula services, and completing her final semester for a B.A. in psychology with a focus on transpersonal psychology, which has set the foundation for her practice. In the Fall of 2019, she has plans to attend graduate school for an M.A in clinical mental health counseling and certify through Postpartum Support International for a specialization in perinatal mental health. Kearstin was born and raised here in New Orleans, Louisiana. If you have any questions about her offerings, please don’t hesitate to contact her! Other interests and passions that influence her work are folk herbalism, healing rituals, archetypes and myths, energetic medicine, and Ayurveda.
Courses and training that have shaped her work include: BEST doula training, Sacred Living Movement’s postpartum doula & mother roaster training, Gena Kirby’s Rebozo certification course, Kimberly Johnson & Centehua Sage’s Fourth Trimester Foods course, numerous courses and workshops on herbalism, Reiki level 1 through Swan River Yoga, and various courses in her degree program, most influentially Foundations of Transpersonal Psychology, Spiritual Psychology, Professional Ethics, The Psychology of Empathy, Mindfulness Practices in Counseling, and Somatic Psychology.
