About Kearstin

I am a mother of a two, Nash and Nate, a full spectrum doula, serving others through fertility and conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond, and I am currently pursuing certification in loss and bereavement doula services. I have obtained my B.A. in psychology from Sofia University and the program’s roots in the transpersonal framework have set the foundation for my practice. I am currently a graduate student pursuing my M.A in clinical mental health counseling and I plan to certify through Postpartum Support International with a specialization in perinatal mental health. I was born and raised here in New Orleans, Louisiana.  If you have any questions about my offerings, please don’t hesitate to contact me! Other interests and passions that influence my work are folk herbalism, healing rituals, energetic medicine and Ayurveda.

Courses and training that have shaped my work include: BEST doula training, Sacred Living Movement’s postpartum doula & mother roaster training, Gena Kirby’s Rebozo certification course, Kimberly Johnson & Centehua Sage’s Fourth Trimester Foods course, numerous courses and workshops on herbalism, Reiki level 1 through Swan River Yoga, and various courses in her degree program, most influentially Foundations of Transpersonal Psychology, Spiritual Psychology, Professional Ethics, The Psychology of Empathy, Mindfulness Practices in Counseling, and Somatic Psychology.
